Trevor Parkinson

I have been a professional senior Treasury interim for the past 10 years working in the UK and overseas. I have worked on projects ranging from fast moving US Chapter 11 situations, PE backed operations, and establishing nascent treasury operations for start-ups and divisional separations from larger groups. Prior to which I have 20 years corporate treasury and earlier bank related treasury and relationship management experience ultimately as Group Treasurer for the last 7 years. I am both a strategic and hands-on operator, looking for the optimal solution and ensuring it is well implemented. I am very aware of the sensitivities and the need to manage a wide range of stakeholders in any situation.

For 6 years I held the role of Governor of the NHS Foundation Trust in Hampshire UK and separately worked on treasury related issues with the NHS Shared Service Centre. I have sat on the UK National e-invoicing forum sponsored by the UK Government Cabinet Office; the Institute for Turnaround and a current member of a multi-disciplinary Brexit Advisory Team.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending tremendous time with my wife and engaging with and promoting professional art and craft, and separately on the beneficial effects of this and horticulture on health and well-being. I am a main board Trustee of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen and member of the Kingsbridge Estuary Boat Club in South Devon.
