An international producer and distributor of auto care products was divested from its parent company. PMC was engaged to establish the new entity’s treasury operation and to provide interim treasury support. As an extension of our involvement, PMC was asked to manage the recruiting process to identify a new Director of Treasury and Tax Operations.
- Work closely with the organization’s CFO and HR department to create a job description; and to develop an understanding of sourcing standards that would need to be adhered to during the recruitment process;
- Create and managed job postings on a selection of financial services oriented job sites and through PMC’s professional affiliations;
- Review résumés, conducted screening calls and developed a short list of potential candidates;
- Coordinate and conducted on-site interviews and introduced finalists to the CFO.
Results & Recommendations
Our ability to manage the complete recruiting process enabled the client to rapidly fill the vacancy with a high quality, geographically suitable candidate. Our understanding of the role’s very specific requirements allowed us to not only identify the best individual for the position but also to facilitate the induction of the new hire.
