Treasury has become an increasingly complex and critical function within organizations and the role of a corporate treasurer has become one where it is necessary to be a forward thinking contingency planner. To do this you need to be well versed in the underlying business, understanding what the operational drivers are and the direction the business is going; as well as having a deep understanding of the climate of the broader economic and competitive environment.

A well defined and well executed treasury function is essential to providing the business with the comfort of knowing that it has the required financial infrastructure, liquidity alternatives and appropriate banking and risk management programs in place to support their growth plans.

Successfully designing and establishing a leading edge treasury area requires someone with extensive experience in the broad array of treasury issues who can identify the extent of operational and risk management requirements of a newly independent company. The opportunity to establish the correct structure at the onset is invaluable and PMC has a wealth of experience in this area.

My experience in running a cost effective, leading edge treasury function provides me with the ability to help a company create a treasury that operates seamlessly and in tandem with the overall needs of the company, foreseeing potential issues and proactively implementing solutions.
