My role is more than just consultancy; it is to become a leading team member for clients and understand their needs. I work with them, speaking at the same level on operational as well as strategic issues and act as another pair of eyes.

Clients grow with me in the projects that we do together. They learn a new way of thinking, to identify and then manage their treasury risks. I believe it is equally important to set up effective internal procedures and controls that enable an often new treasury team to ‘swim and not sink’.

Each situation requires us to deliver a tailored solution to a specific situation as, quite clearly, each company is individual and must have a solution suitable for its own unique set up and business model.

In order to improve upon a company’s approach to treasury, I can be an advisor to the existing team or assume the function of interim treasury manager until a permanent manager is on board.
